Sober Living Program
Once you complete the detox and/or residential treatment programs at one of our 7 locations, we want to continue to help you or your loved one continue on their long term journey to live in sobriety. Many people that travel to Southern California for inpatient care and successfully complete their program make the decision to stay in Southern California for a variety of reasons. Perhaps the location they came from seems too toxic for them to return to or, sometimes, people form new bonds and other forms of social support while here. Whatever the reason, Sobriety Options can easily refer you to a sober living housing program so you can live happily and safely free from an environment where drugs or alcohol are present.
In a long term study of those living in sober living homes after treatment, Douglas L. Polcin, Ed.D., et al,
“Lack of a stable, alcohol and drug free living environment can be a serious obstacle to sustained abstinence. Destructive living environments can derail recovery for even highly motivated individuals…The promising outcomes for SLH residents suggest that sober living houses might play more substantive roles for persons: 1) completing residential treatment, 2) attending outpatient treatment, 3) seeking non-treatment alternatives for recovery, and 4) entering the community after criminal justice incarceration.”
About Our Sober Living Programs
Sobriety Options can provide you or a loved one with referrals to the highest quality sober living homes in Southern California. Our sober living options are all in upscale residences in one of the safest cities in all of California: Murrieta, just north of San Diego.
One of the best things about living in Murrieta is that there is a thriving support community here and you can get to the beach, the mountains or the desert in just about an hour, that is, in good traffic. As well, employment is widely available in Southern California so if you or a loved one is going to make a long-term decision to stay here, they will be able to find gainful employment.
