Addiction Treatment Admissions: It All Starts with a Call

Addiction Treatment Admissions: It All Starts with a Call

Getting help for addiction is not an easy choice. At Sobriety Options we make the addiction admissions process as streamlined and as easy as possible. Our team is available 24/7 to answer any questions that potential clients and their family may have. During the process we respect confidentiality and privacy 100% for every individual that calls us – even if you choose not to seek treatment with us. Callers can rest assured knowing they’re in good hands.

Make the First Call

The admissions process begins with the first call. The purpose of this call is to get to know what you or your loved one is struggling with. After learning about the potential client, our admissions team provides you with insight into the treatment programs we offer. Recommending which program may fit your needs best.

During this first admissions call we will also discuss potential payment methods with you. We accept most major insurance companies. Prepare to provide your insurance company and policy number. After that, our admissions team will reach out to your insurance provider directly to verify your benefits. This will determine how much your policy will cover and what will need to be paid out of pocket. We do this to take the stress off your plate during a vulnerable time.

Work with the Treatment Team

After the first call and discussions on insurance coverage, a doctor will be brought into the admissions process. They will conduct a brief clinical assessment over the phone to determine the substance(s) used and the duration of addiction. During this call, the doctor will also ask about your personal medical history and any relevant family history.

All of this data remains confidential at all times. Only being shared with necessary parties and never without your consent. The doctor and other care providers will use the information obtained in this admissions call to craft a treatment plan that caters directly to your needs.

Show Up as Yourself

Upon arriving at a Sobriety Options treatment center, the same doctor you spoke with over the phone will give you an in person medical assessment. This determines what type of medications are needed during detox, how long detox should last, and what steps follow. They may use a variety of diagnostic tests and methods – all of which prioritize your safety and comfort at all times.

The medical assessment will include doctors, psychiatrists, licensed therapists, and other clinicians that are going to be treating you from start to finish.
